Our Valentine Baby (sort of!)

My mom is our family's Valentine Baby. I made her favorite, her heart shaped strawberry cake. Sadly most of the time Mom makes her own birthday cakes, but I was able to do it for her this year so I was glad about that.
We did have sneaky little Isabel who "just couldn't resist" swiping her finger in the cake icing when no one was looking. It was too funny. You can see her little finger marks in the bottom of the right heart.
After dinner and cake, the kiddies got their goody bags and even the big kiddies got goodies this time!! Happy Valentine's Day everyone and Happy Birthday Ma. We love you.

Finally!

Justin finally lost his front top tooth. It has been just hanging on for about a month. Justin is the only kid in the world that doesn't work on those teeth as soon as they are loose, I swear! He actually lost it during the night while he was sleeping and thought he had swallowed it. Mom found it though so that the tooth fairy could visit him!

Jaison's Birthday

It's hard to believe, but our nephew Jaison is 10 years old! It seems like he was just a baby not so long ago. Now he is so grown up and is heading toward those dreaded teen years!

Jaison was so excited about his birthday. He got to have one if his friends over for the party and that was very special for him. Everyone sang Happy Birthday, he opened his presents and then, of course it was goody bag time. Grandma is always pretty good about the goody bags and it might just be the kids favorite part of the day.

My Little Cheerleader

Jasmine has just started cheerleading with the Goldsboro Parks and Rec. These pictures are from her first night. Sorry about the quality, but gyms are hard to get good pics in. There were more than 50 4-6 year olds there, but Jasmine had a great time and we have been practicing so that she is ready next Monday night for her next class. She mostly wants to play with the pom-poms though and wear her BC Eagles Cheering outfit! When she was done I asked if she had fun and she said it makes her tired!

My Pampered Chefs

The kids love when they get the chance to help cook. The cool thing now is that Justin is big enough to do the things that are not so fun for me!
Justin is very interested in helping to cook dinner right now while Jasmine is definitely my child and wants to make dessert!
